How to get to the Fleckenstein ?

By road

One and a half hours from Colmar, Saarbrücken or Heidelberg Driving from Strasbourg

  • A4 towards Paris
  • A340 towards Haguenau – exit Schweighouse – Haguenau North­West (bypass)
  • N63 towards Karlsruhe – exit Morsbronn­les­bains, Woerth
  • D27 to Lembach (Hegeney, Hinterfeld, Morsbronn-­les­-Bains, Woerth,
  • Leibfrauenthal) – follow the signs for Chateau de Fleckenstein from Woerth.
  • D3 follows the signs for Château de Fleckenstein towards Bitche
  • D925 follows the signs for Château de Fleckenstein Schönau
  • D525 towards Château de Fleckenstein

By train or shuttle bus

You can get to the Fleckenstein by public transport from the railway station at Wissembourg where there is a connection with the TER trains from Haguenau, Winden, Neustadt and Landau on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from the 3rd April until 1st November 2018
